This week on my Facebook page I asked my followers what their favorite Fall meal is. Now that we’re officially in the Fall season (Hello, Fall weather!) I felt it was only appropriate to share one of my favorite Fall recipes.

This Gooey Butter Cake has all the pumpkin-y and caramel-y goodness you could ask for in a Fall dessert and it pairs perfectly with this recipe for our Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops.

I chose to garnish it with a little bit of nutmeg which I grated using my microplane!

If you’re a follower of my live videos on Facebook then you know I use my microplane for just about anything! From zesting lemons to grating cheese – this is a must-have kitchen tool.

If you’re in the market to purchase a microplane we recommend this one.
